As an amateur photographer I have taken the opportunity to capture many moments of time and emotion. I feel that photography is a unique medium in that it is capable of containing an entire story within a single frame. In a sense, it is the equivalent of poetry in the world of visual storytelling. Through photos, I can communicate stories that I could not achieve in any other form. I find this most true in macro photography where the camera can provide a perspective on the world which we tend to miss or are unable to see. There are many things in the world, both natural and manmade, that hold stories that need to be shared.
